General Information:

Entry - Participants must have a valid entry to Collector Con 2025.

Age:  Entrants must be at least 13 years old. Those under 13 may enter with an accompanying adult.

Keep it PG-13: This is a PG-13-rated event. No profane language or symbolism, questionable/lewd poses, mature models/kits, and/or depictions of excessive violence allowed. Entries displaying the above or other questionable entries as deemed by staff will be disqualified from entry. All entries must comply with the Collector Con's Code of Conduct. Collector Con retains the right to disqualify participants who violate these rules

Categories & Rules:

• Standard 1/144: Open to any standard assembly builds 1/144 size. Limited to out of box only, no modifications.
  Open 1/144: Anything goes 1/144 scale only. Modifying, kitbashing, scratch building are all permitted and will be judged accordingly.
  Standard 1/100: Open to any standard assembly builds 1/100 scale or larger (1/60 etc). Limited to out of box only, no modifications.
  Open 1/100: Anything goes, 1/100 scale or larger. Modifying, kitbashing, scratch building are all permitted and will be judged accordingly.

Prizes:

The highest scoring kit/build in each category, as determined by our judges, will win a prize with the highest scoring overall winning the Grand Prize. 

The judging will be on a 3 category basis: assembly quality, paint quality, and creativity.
Prizes will be awarded per entry, not per person.

If no kits/models are submitted to a category it will be up to the judges discretion if that prize is awarded to another submission in a different category.

Submission Dates:

Builds must be submitted at Collector Con with the Vanpla team on Friday June 13th or Saturday June 14th before 3pm to be judged.

• All entrants must provide a:

  • name,

  • phone number,

  • and email address to accompany their build.

• Entrants in the standard categories must declare the kit they used in order for judges to ensure the builds comply with the rules.

Winners will be announced and awarded at 5pm at the Vanpla booth. Winners that are unavailable at the designated award time will be contacted by members of staff to claim their prizes.
